 The pudendal nerve is a major nerve in the pelvis responsible for carrying sensation and controlling muscle movements in the perineal area, which includes the genitalia, anus, and perineum. 

If the pudendal nerve is damaged or compressed, it can lead to vaginal dryness and pain, leakage of urine and hemorrhoid.
